Guilford County Schools Scholarship

Guilford Technical Community College has a dedicated interest in providing the opportunity for education beyond high school. In particular, this institution wishes to support the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiative by providing access to occupational and technical training. In addition, these scholarships are available only to our county high school students in an effort to support our local youth in Guilford County.

How to apply: You will apply using the GTCC Foundation Scholarships application.

You will need to use your Titan credentials to login. In order to receive Titan credentials, please apply to the college first.

Counselors: We no longer require a form from high school counselors. The deadline to submit the application is May 1st, 2017.

GTCC Career and College Promise Scholarship Application

This scholarship is available to Guilford County high school graduates who participated in the GTCC Career and College Promise program. It can be used to enroll in a one-year occupational, two-year technical, or college transfer program at GTCC.

Qualification Criteria: Be a graduating high school senior who resides in Guilford County; complete a minimum of 12 credit hours at GTCC by the end of the student’s senior year in high school; have a minimum 2.6 GPA in the courses completed at GTCC; and apply to GTCC with acceptable credentials for admission into a technical, occupational, or college transfer program of his or her choice.

Jobs of the Future Scholarship Application

This scholarship can be used to enroll in a program of study leading to a degree in one of five targeted industry clusters – aviation, logistics and transportation, advance manufacturing, business services, life sciences and construction and the trade industries.

Qualification Criteria: Be a graduating high school senior who resides in Guilford County; have a minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA; and apply to GTCC with acceptable credentials for admission into an eligible program of study leading to a degree in one of five critical industry clusters – aviation, logistics and transportation, advanced manufacturing, business services, and life sciences or the construction and trades industry.

High School Scholars Scholarship Application

This scholarship can be used to enroll high-achieving Guilford County high school graduates into one-year occupational, two-year technical, or college transfer programs at GTCC.

Qualification Criteria: Be a graduating high school senior who resides in Guilford County; rank in the upper 10 percent of the senior class; have a minimum 3.50 unweighted GPA; and apply to GTCC with acceptable credentials for admission into the technical, occupational or college transfer program of his or her choice.

Completion by Design Scholarship Application

This scholarship is available to students who have been accepted to participate in an approved joint admissions program between GTCC and colleges and universities in Guilford County.

Qualification Criteria: Be accepted for an approved joint admissions program at GTCC with colleges and universities in Guilford County.

Hospitality and Service Careers Scholarship Application

This scholarship is available to Guilford County School high school graduates to enroll in a diploma or degree program in the hospitality and service industries at GTCC.

Qualification Criteria: Be a graduating high school senior who resides in Guilford County; have a minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA, and apply to GTCC with acceptable credentials for admission into an eligible program of study leading to a degree that supports hospitality or service-related careers.
